Description

The forest area covers 21,000 hectares managed in accordance with the highest environmental guidelines and renowned international standards. Forest development is a strategic activity of our group, which invests in continuous improvement (cloning), while highly committed with the environment and the use of renewable resources. The company operates two major sawmills and a plywood mill, the Virasoro Industrial Center, located in the city  of Virasoro, Argentina province of Corrientes, and San Charbel Industrial Center, in the same province. These centers specialize in growing and processing eucalyptus and pine wood. The sawmills have an annual production capacity of 118,000 m3, while the plywood mill capacity is 48,000 m3. the main products include high value plywood, floors, decks, tongue-and-groove boards, beams and molding. Celulosa Argentina owns two pulp mills and three paper mills located in Capitán Bermúdez (Argentina province of Santa Fe), Zárate (Argentine province of Buenos Aires) and Juan Lacaze (Oriental Republic of Uruguay). Their annual production capacity amounts to 217 thousand tons of pulp and 205 thousand tons of paper. Their main products are printing and writing paper, coated and non-coated paper, packaging paper, conversion and special paper. A solid distribution chain allows the company to supply the local market as the main regional markets. Operating its own distribution companies in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile, Celulosa Argentina provides superb quality products and the best distribution service to its customers.
