CELULOSA ARGENTINA PRESENTED ITS LINE OF CERTIFIED PAPERS FOR THE PUBLISHING INDUSTRY AT THE BOOK FAIR

Within the framework of the 35th Buenos Aires International Book Fair, and before the major players in the publishing industry, authorities from the sector’s chambers and special guests, Celulosa Argentina introduced its new line of certified papers for the publishing industry.

These developments are the result of the company’s recent obtainment of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Chain of Custody certification for its printing and writing paper lines. Celulosa Argentina has thus become the first national paper manufacturer to develop a line of certified products for the publishing market, allowing its customers to get the assurance they are receiving FSC supported products manufactured from certified raw material derived from well-managed forests and other controlled sources.

This is the outcome of the company’s on-going efforts to reach the highest standards in all manufacturing processes, from raw material to the finished product, in line with its fundamental values: Commitment, Evolution and Balance. CELULOSA ARGENTINA, sponsor of the 34th International Book Fair in Buenos Aires

In line with its commitment with the advancement of culture and education, Celulosa Argentina will sponsor the 34th International Book Fair in Buenos Aires , which will take place at La Rural show center from April 24 to May 12.

The Book Fair is the largest of its kind in the Spanish speaking world. It is regarded as one of the major cultural and publishing events in Latin America, as it provides a meeting point for authors, publishers, booksellers, distributors, teachers, librarians, scientists and more than 1,200,000 readers from all over the world.

A remarkable presence at the main Fair in the sector.

Attended by a considerable number of customers and the general public, Expo Papelería 2007 hosted Celulosa Argentina ’s stand, located at the main fair access. The outcome was highly positive, as the stand was one of the most visited ones, and allowed attendees to learn every piece of news the company had to share.

Boreal and Expresión were the stars of the stand, displayed in all forms and grammages. Under the motto "Quality is on display", the main distinctive features of Boreal were underlined: a high quality paper line, optimal smoothness and excellent performance with all kinds of printing equipment.

Promotions and programs also found their place, allowing many visiting booksellers to register and take part in raffles of hundreds of prizes. The ream sticker "Boreal stick" was one of the innovations that most interested visitors, who could also have access to POP elements to decorate their stores. Bookstore Peluffo turned out to be the winner of the notebook raffle, within the framework of the Stores Program, which gives an award to those stores that choose Boreal reams quality.

Against the backdrop of the show, Celulosa Argentina organized two theme cocktails that made it possible for the company people to have a pleasant time with customers and friends, who did not miss the appointment. Tango and folklore shows were welcome, both by the cocktail attendees and the general public who enjoyed the exhibition.
