Winners of the Best Foresting Company Award

On November 21, 2007, Forestadora Tapebicuá S.A. (a company owned by Celulosa Argentina) was awarded the Best Foresting Company Award, on the occasion of the 5th edition of the Agricultural Excellence Award 2007 granted by La Nación newspaper and Banco Galicia at the Sociedad Rural Argentina facilities.

For the past ten years, our company has been developing new highly specialized genetic materials from eucalyptus trees (Eucalyptus Grandis), obtained by means of a natural selection process and later cloning, and profiting from the comparative advantages offered by our country in terms of climate and soil. Against the backdrop of the responsible forest management principles set forth by the Forestry Stewardship Council, this development has positioned us as a pioneering company in the forest industry by adhering to the “sustainable development” paradigm and proving that it is possible to preserve natural resources for future generations, while providing better benefits to our community and manufacturing state-of-the-art products for both the domestic and world markets.

Grupo Tapebicuá is proud to share this award with you, who have trusted our expertise and supported us in every step along the tough road traveled … and still to travel.
