CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The company’s policy is also focused on health and education issues, and it is within this framework that we conduct activities that clearly involve us with each of the communities where we operate. The company has taken part, both directly and in collaboration with other institutions, in the following activities:

• We have executed the Frame Agreement with the Labor, Employment and Social Security Ministry, the National Committee for Child Labor Abolishment (CONAETI), and other entities concerned with child labor prevention and abolishment.  
• We have taken part in the National Plan for Local Development and Social Economy “Manos a la Obra ” (“Let’s get to work”) conducted by the National Secretariat of Social Policies and Human Development reporting to the Ministry of Social Development.  
• We are part of the Argentine Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEADS).  
• We donate wood for the construction of rural dwellings on a regular basis.  
• We directly generate formal jobs for 2,000 people.  
• We are the second largest employer in Corrientes province.  
• We permanently encourage the development of our collaborators, both on a personal and professional level. Their on-going training is oriented towards the strict compliance with high international standards in each of the positions they hold.  
• We work hard to prevent labor risks and to improve labor conditions; we are one of the companies with fewer accidents in the sector.  
• We work jointly with health centers in the area, conducting campaigns such as Dengue Prevention and other diseases.  
• We contribute to the better life quality of our community by providing our own products and the necessary basic and comfort elements o several institutions such as fire brigades, hospitals and schools.  
• We support foundations and NGOs that promote culture and education.
