About the Company

Celulosa Argentina S.A.

Since its foundation in 1929, Celulosa Argentina S.A. has worked for the country and its people, focusing on production of high quality paper. In May 2007, Tapebicuá Group, a forest industry group operating in Argentina and Uruguay, purchased 97,6% of the shareholding in Fábrica Nacional de Papel S.A. (Fanapel), thus consolidating the regional industrial project development, concerned with a rational use of resources and environmental protection.

With two industrial plants, one in Capitán Bermúdez (Province of Santa Fe) and one in Zárate (Province of Buenos Aires), Celulosa Argentina has specialized in paper production for printing and writing purposes, using whitewashed eucalyptus Kraft cellulose as raw material obtained from renewable forests.

Both plants together account for an annual production capacity of 180 thousand tons of whitewashed short fiber Kraft cellulose and paper. The annual turnover from the sale of paper and pulp is about 150 million dollars. Sixty five percent of our paper sales are made in the local market, supplying different segments (publishers, forms, small reams, general and industrial prints). The rest is exported to different countries in America, Europe and Africa.

Paper sales are conducted through a solid and strategic network of Distributors, with direct sales to major clients, covering the whole country with our products and services. ampliar
